Dr. Ann Carter

Having been born in Kenya animals, both domestic and wild, were Ann’s inspiration to do Veterinary Science.

She qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon in Dublin in 1984 and has spent 36 years devoted to small animal practice in both the UK and Australia.

She has decided to see out her career with a return to Amical Veterinary Centre in May 2020.

Her devoted husband and two children have allowed her to bring home many a “rescue” over the years and they have all enjoyed the privilege of companionship of rabbits, tortoises, a dog, cats, hedgehogs and multiple species of birds.

The story continues and she hopes that the best is yet to come!
