Sabrina Reeve

I started working at Amical in July 2012. I joined as a pre-trainee nurse with the intention to pursue my dream of becoming a Veterinary Nurse. After a minor accident where I damaged my knee I developed a condition called Fibromyalgia, which causes chronic pain and fatigue. Knowing I would never manage as a nurse, it was decided I would take over the Pharmacy Administrator role when the previous lady left.

I love my role in the practice and have been in this role for 6 years. I put up the medications for all departments, complete repeat prescription requests, process in house laboratory work and prepare samples to be sent to external laboratories. I help vets with holding animals where needed.

I have 3 cats, 1 chihuahua, a budgie and a lovebird and a Horsfield Tortoise at home and have been known to take wildlife in to try and get it fit for release, including a pigeon I hand reared called Hei Hei which was released successfully after a long stay with me.
